K. Patterson Residential Design was founded by Kelly David Patterson, a Los Angeles-based Residential Designer and licensed real estate professional with a lifelong passion for architecture, home design, and the way people experience the spaces they live in.

 

Kelly’s love of residential architecture began at an early age, when his parents encouraged his interest in drawing homes and gave him his first drafting tools. That early passion eventually led him to study architecture at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where his focus included residential design, modern and traditional architecture, and historic preservation. His background also includes more than 15 years in the real estate industry with experience spanning residential sales, title and escrow, mortgage banking, property operations, and client advisory work.

 

Today, Kelly brings those worlds together through K. Patterson Residential Design, creating thoughtful residential concepts, floor plans, 3D renderings, remodel plans, additions, ADUs, and custom interior design solutions. His work combines creative vision with practical real estate insight, helping homeowners, builders, and real estate clients better understand a property’s potential before moving forward.

 

Using digital design and 3D visualization tools, Kelly develops realistic visual presentations that allow clients to see how a home can look, feel, and function. Whether designing a new home concept, reworking an existing floor plan, planning a remodel, or helping a client visualize an addition, his goal is to make the design process clear, collaborative, and inspiring.
